Rituals

Friday

3 pm
Hellenic Opening Ritual with John D.
Artemis and the nymphs dance in the fields, spurred by Apollon's music. Helios dallies and the days lengthen as he watches, until the days threaten to become too long and Zeus must intervene. Come join us in honoring and worshiping the Gods, and listen to the re-telling of this modern myth.

Saturday

1 pm
Main Ritual

Led by Irene Jericho, a High Priestess of the Tradition of the Witches Circle, our Main Ritual is family-friendly and will feature a blessing of all participants by the Elements, God and Goddess for the coming year. Hand drummers are encouraged to bring drums for the circle dance portion of the ritual. To view the Ritual outline, click here.

The Handfasting of Joe Cariola and Katie Doherty will immediately follow our Litha Ritual. Please stay and join in our celebration of their love!

Sunday

1 pm
Closing Ritual
The Closing ritual will celebrate Sunna (Sol), and thank her for a great festival, as well as wishing her a good journey as the year winds down. Done in the Ar nDraiocht Fein (ADF) tradition, it's something quite different from the standard ritual. You are welcome to bring a personal offering to the Kindred (Ancestors, Nature Spirits, and Gods) as well as Sunna herself. Please make sure you attend the pre-ritual briefing just before the ritual, as this will explain how an ADF ritual works! Kim Edwards has been a member of the Ar nDraioch Fein (ADF) since 2005, and completed the ADF Dedicant Path in 2006. Kim is also an initiate of The Tradition of the Witches Circle.

More ritual details coming soon! Check back regularly for updates!
