MAHARAL shows are fast becoming known for their dramatic and moving pieces that combine music, dance, storytelling, history, and theatre to create a truly unique concert experience. Christopher LaFond
From harp to guitar to voice, Chris both delights and rouses the spirit with a mix of traditional and modern Celtic music. Jigs, reels, airs, ballads and folks songs reconnect us both to Celtic heritage and to the Earth. Chris performs on Cape Cod as part of the Pilgrim Celtic Harp Trio, whose CD “Garden Concert” is available now in person or at cdbaby.com; he also performs solo at pagan and folk events throughout New England. Chris is the music director of MotherTongue, the ritual performance troupe of the EarthSpirit community. Their CDs are also available through Chris or at cdbaby.com.

Jeremy Rodgers is a bassist, producer, and singer-songwriter graced with a deep baritone voice and a knack for drawing you in with musical humor and touching intimacy. With influences ranging from Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, to Robert Johnson, Jeremy finds common ground with any audience. Imakhu
Imakhu, the Renegade Wise Woman, is a career visual/performing/literary artist who openly lives her life as a Nubian witch out of the Broom Closet. Her uplifting Nu African pagan music blends eclectic and traditional folk, Goth, and soulful soft rock. Her vocals, storytelling, drumming, and folk guitar playing reflect her African and Native American roots. Imakhu is also known to the world for her metaphysical podcast, NUBIA GODDESS RISING (also found on iTunes), and as author of COWRIE BLESSINGS BOOK: NU AFRAKAN WORDS OF WISDOM. She is Queen Mother and Elder High Priestess of a Kemetic/Metaphysical shrine, Shona water priestess, a keeper of the sacred Wise Woman (Rehu-t) traditions.
