Litha Ritual

Led by Irene Jericho, a High Priestess of the Tradition of the Witches Circle and member of Cassandra Syndrome, our Main Ritual is an all-music family-friendly experience. This chanted ritual will feature a blessing of all participants by the Elements, God and Goddess for the coming year. Hand drummers are encouraged to bring drums for the ritual.

The chants we are using for the ritual will be played over the sound system to assist in good ritual flow, so don't worry if you don't know the melody. Scroll down to familiarize yourself with the chant order and ritual movement.

God & Goddess Chant

We all come from the Goddess
And to Her we shall return
Like a drop of rain
Flowing to the ocean

We all come from the Sun God
And to Him we shall return
Like a stalk of grain
Rising to heaven

Hoof and Horn, Hoof and Horn
All that dies shall be reborn
Corn and Grain, Corn and Grain
All that falls shall rise again

God & Goddess enter Sacred Space
Litha Chant

We are one
We are one
We are one, we are one
Under the infinite Sun

We are one
We are one
We are one, we are one
Nation under the Sun

Ritual participants move deosil around the circle, receiving a gift from each Element. They then progress to the center of the circle, passing between the God & Goddess and receiving their blessing. Participants then re-form the circle.
